From Feb 9, China&Singapore will be exempted from Visas

At that time, ordinary passport holders of both parties：

1. can enter the other country visa-free to engage in tourism, family visits, business and other private affairs, and stay for no more than 30 days.

2. If you enter the other country to engage in work, news reports and other activities that require prior approval, and if you plan to stay in the other country for more than 30 days, you must apply for the corresponding visa before entering the other country.

届时，双方持普通护照人员可免签入境对方国家从事旅游、探亲、商务等私人事务，停留不超过30日。入境对方国家从事工作、新闻报道等须事先批准的活动以及拟在对方国家停留超过30日的，须在入境对方国家前办妥相应签证。

Up to now, China has concluded mutual visa exemption agreements with 157 countries covering different types of passports, reached agreements or arrangements for simplified visa procedures with 44 countries, and achieved comprehensive visa exemption with 22 countries, including Singapore, Maldives and Kazakhstan. In addition, more than 60 countries and regions have given Chinese citizens visa-free or visa-to-arrival convenience.

截至目前，中国已与157国缔结了涵盖不同护照种类的互免签证协定，与44个国家达成简化签证手续协定或安排，与包括新加坡、马尔代夫、哈萨克斯坦等22个国家实现全面互免签证。此外，还有60多个国家和地区给予中国公民免签或落地签便利。

The degree of exitation of Chinese citizens has been greatly improved, and the "gold content" of Chinese passports will be higher and higher.

Wu Xi, director of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, said in an exclusive interview with CCTV reporters that recently, China has launched a series of measures to facilitate personnel exchanges, which fully demonstrates China's determination to promote high-level opening-up to the outside world.
