会议费用：800元，现场缴纳。在校全日制研究生（不包括在职学位者）凭学生证半价。往返交通和住宿费用自理。

International Conference of Anthropocene and the Community of Shared Future for Mankind
(No. 2 Notice)
In August 2016, the scientists in the 35th International Geological Congress declared the dawn of the Anthropocene Epoch. As a new way of geological time, the concept of Anthropocene is not only a grand narrative event, but also an opportunity for us to scrutinize the global ecological crisis by means of natural and human archaeological methods, to understand the relationship between human society and ecological crisis from the perspective of geological faults, and the human power and various invisible violence. If Anthropocene means that we, regardless of nationality and culture, are facing the possible destruction of the life circle, how can we imagine the future literature, politics and culture? The answer is to explore the limit of human life and to build a community of shared future for the mankind.
In order to further explore the above related issues, the Lanzhou Jiaotong University School of Foreign Languages, the Editorial Office of English and American Literary Studies and the Shanghai International Studies University Center for British and American Literature will jointly organize the International Conference of Anthropocene and the Community of Shared Future in Lanzhou Jiaotong University on October 11- 13, 2019. All the researchers and scholars are welcome to submit abstracts on the following (but not limited to) topics:

2 Philosophical foundations of the Community of Shared Future theory
3 Themes of the Community of Shared Future for Mankind in literature
4 Ethical issues in the Anthropocene Epoch
5 World literature in the Anthropocene Epoch
6 Anthropocene and Artificial Intelligence

Abstracts as well as receipts confirming your attendance should be submitted to the conference email box ICACSF@163.com before September 20, 2019. The abstract can be written in Chinese or English with a 300 word limit.
Conference fee: 800 RMB to be paid on site on October 11, 2019. Please be noted that the fee does not cover transportation and accommodation. A 50 per cent discount is available for student participants who need to show their student identity card on site)
